What's a Documented Faith Art Play Planner?

 

It's a binder that can be used as part planner, part art journal, part whatever you want it to be. It's your daily walk with God and a way to document that! The monthly inserts are blank

so you can start whenever you are ready!

 

 

Each Month has a watercolor divider page with Stephanie's original art work on it ready to be colored by YOU!

To go along with your Documented Faith Planner is a Monthly Companion Kit inspired by a word to focus on and a weekly verses. This kit was created to work in and with the binder or an existing planner, art journal or whatever you use to Document your Faith.

 

Monthly Booklet - There is a Monthly booklet with artwork on the the front and back cover, a page for each weekly verse and doodles.  Each page is perforated so that you can tear it out, use it in your art or punch holes in it and place it into your binder or planner.  It has room for your notes and journaling.
Postcards - 4-5 coordinating postcards for you to use in your art, add into your binders/journals or to mail out to friends to inspire and encourage others.
Coloring Cards - 4-5 doodled art cards that coordinate with the weekly verses and are ready for you to add color to.  Use these in your art, in your planners, binders or journals.
Sticker STRIPS - a 6" x 12" package of coordinating sticker strips. It is like strips of washi tape instead of an entire roll. No fuss, just peel and stick a strip!
Decorative Clips - The January set contains cute arrow clips to use on the pages of your binders, journals and planners.
Binder Page Pad - The January kit features a pad of 25 pages that can be individually used, torn out and placed in your binder by simply punch holes in it.  It can also be used as a pad of paper with your lists or notes.

Creating with Faith Workshop with Jamie Dougherty

 

Jamie has been involved in some aspect of art since her early teens and she's loved God all of her life. But the two passions didn't find each other until this past year. She came across a fellow artist's bible journaling and knew immediately that is where she belonged. She loved the idea of using God's gifts to glorify Him in a artistic and meaningful way. So many of us are visual learners and creating art in the margins of our Bibles just brings God's word even more to life. Brings it into color. Jamie is a mixed media artist by trade and currently has a collection of stamps and other designs available through Prima Marketing Inc. her Bloom collection is known for the beautiful Bloom Girl faces. Jamie has more designs in store in the coming months.  When Jamie isn't teaching or creating, she loves nothing more than to spend time with her family.

Thursday August 6th for a Creating In Faith Workshop!

Creative Covers Workshop

Join us for Creative Covers this week at the LBH !

 

Lynette Chiles will share with you how to make your own personalized creative cover for your bible, art journal, planner or favorite book! 

 

We will have several punches and stamps for you to use to embellish your covers with. All you need to bring is your bible, journal or book of your choice and a few of your favorite patterned papers, text, or music papers to work with.

I AM....Creative! : Miss T's Projects

Hello Friends!
Have you seen this fabulous collection from Simple Stories?? It's simply called...I AM...two small but powerful words!

Check out this video...it's an awesome clip to explain the concept behind this collection... 

I have completely fallen for this collection...I AM in love with it!!! I knew right away that I wanted to create several projects and today I'm sharing a couple of them with you.

 Here's a look at a Layout I designed from the I AM  collection. I will actually be putting my photos on it...that's right ...ME! Most of us who scrapbook are always preserving memories of our family, friends, events, etc. but are usually  the person BEHIND the camera. I encourage you to document the Picture Taker...YOU...It's important to tell your story and the I AM collection helps you do just that...

It is available to create in any of the LBH Buffets or to take as a Kit. It can be customized with a variety of different attributes to perfectly describe whoever you are featuring on the layout...all provided in the kit.

I love the pretty Gold metallic accents on some of the papers and embellishments...

Beautiful fonts too....I love lines that mix fonts!

I love all the descriptive words and the beautiful colors...It's such a unique collection!

I AM also a Believer and will be adding a lot of the I AM embellies and papers in some of my future Bible Journaling Entries...I think it will be a perfect addition! 

In fact, I was so inspired by the papers...that I designed a NEW Tag Set for our Words for ALL Seasons Blocks & Base... "Walk by Faith". It features the bonus block which I designed to be a Magnetic Scripture Block. 

There is a metal piece hidden under the pretty paper...and I made little pebble magnets to attach my printed scripture onto the block. I can now print scriptures in pretty fonts and change them out whenever I wish. 

This NEW tag set is NOW available at the Little Blue House to create in any buffet or take home as a kit.

Illustrated Faith Workshops at the LBH

Bring your Faith and your Art together in the form of Faith Journaling. Shanna Noel has started an "Illustrated Faith" Movement within the Art Industry and the Faith Community!

We are so excited to announce that Shanna Noel is coming to The Little Blue House to teach us all about "Illustrated Faith" on
 January 16th and 17th. 

For years, Shanna struggled to read her bible in a meaningful way. "I always wished I was more like that, that I LOVED to read my bible, that i even wanted to, but the truth is... often times i felt like it was more of a chore than anything else," she says. One day, though, she saw an image of a Bible all marked up, highlighted and underlined, and something about that struck a chord in her. 

She went online and ordered yet another new Bible-- but this time it was a Journaling Bible. "When I started to use my Journaling Bible, a light blub went off!" she explains.
I needed to have a place in my Bible for Reflection, Creativity, and Journaling and that is exactly what this new format provided." 

Now Shanna has taken her discoveries and is presenting them in a cohesive manner.
Join her as she shares how she uses her Journaling Bible in a colorful and creative way that allows for personal growth, reflection and illustration.
