Mixed Media Mania at The Little Blue House!

-MIXED MEDIA MANIA-

Hi it's Susan Tidwell, I want to share with you my project for our May's Mixed Media Mania.
 This is the fun project I will be teaching on May 6th. The triptych is a custom 2-pc wood arch with two side panels that students will create from book board. Then the fun will begin with texturing and coloring the surface with some great new paints and products from Art Anthology, Faber Castell, Viva Decor and Ranger.

This was designed as a frame suitable for a Mother's Day gifts, but could be used for many different occasions. I used a photo of my mother as a young married woman in the center and a quote for mothers, but more photos could also be added on the side panels.

Introducing a NEW Workshop based on our ever-popular
 Scrapbook in a Day Workshop!

DIY Scrapbook in a Day
DIY...stands for Design it Yourself. In this unique workshop you will be able to reserve a specific theme and we will be creating a SBIAD during the workshop. Each DIY Scrapbook will include Nine 12x12 unique pocket pages and Three unique Insta-Pocket Pages. We will also be sharing some fun DIY techniques and giving you some awesome Add-On's for your pages.

Cost: $85 

You must reserve the theme you want in advance and there are limited numbers of each theme. Each theme features  Snap Set bundles (prepared by us) from Simple Stories...

Calling all Scrapstashers!!!

Join us this month for Scrapstashers! This is a fun workshop aimed at helping you find "success with your excess" of papers, embellies, etc. Miss Tracy will design a fun project/projects for our workshop and create a "what to bring" list for you to bring from your own Stash of Supplies!

"What to Bring" List:
Basic Class Kit (scissors, adhesives, etc.)

4-6 printed papers (Spring-like or Easter prints)
Scrap pieces of coordinating cardstock
1 yard of two different ribbons that match your papers
A few coordinating buttons
Scalloped Circle Punch or Circle Punch(if you have one)
A couple of your favorite border punches (if you have some)
2 colors of distress paints (that coordinate with your papers)
2 Foam Brushes
