Just wanted to post a friendly reminder that our Pickers Project Workshops are just around the corner...this Saturday and next Wednesday. I so wish that I could be there with you , my fellow Pickers, but I'm still out recovering from surgery...I am leaving you in great hands though and I want you to all promise to send me pics of your altered bottles ...I'm always so inpsired by your work ladies!!! I will be looking for them...

It's the perfect time of year...(I think) to alter bottles...With the Bewitching Hour soon here, I thought it would be fun to do a Spooky version of Potion Bottles...so, so, so fun and easy to cast a creative spell on your bottles...so many ghastly tips & tricks to share with you....

If potion bottles aren't your thing...no worries! You could create a lovely vintage, romantic version....You will love adorning your bottles with charming trinkets, treasures, and it's a great way to repurpose old jewelry and other vintage findings...Altered bottles make such wonderful home accents...so full of charm and character...

Here is the info regarding our workshop this month and suggested items to bring with you to class...

BYOB- BRING YOUR OWN BOTTLES 

In our October Pickers Project Workshops we will be showing you

how to alter old bottles and give them a repurposed, new life. 

WHEN:

Sat 10/13 10am-1pm 

 Wed 10/17 10am-1pm 

Cost : $15.00 

(Seating is limited)

-a variety of bottles

(More vintage bottles will be put out at the LBH tonight 

if you are need of some for the workshop)

-fabric remnants, laces, twines, or chains 

-buttons,charms,pearls,baubles,trinkets, wire

-papers, tags, stickers, scraps

-specific embellishments for you theme

-Ink for edges of the papers

-Glue-n-Seal- (in stock at the LBH)

-Glossy Accents (in stock at the LBH)

-Diamond Stickles and/or Rock Candy Stickles

-Small Photos if you would like

- your basics 

We have a special tip to share with you on how to age bottles...even ones that are brand spankin' new....Come learn more!
