Step 1. Using the yellow paper from Echo Park (Sunny Days Ahead in Red/Yellow) trim to 4 inches by 6 inches. Followed by the Doodlebug Vellum in Tangerine, trim to 4 inches by 6 inches.
Step 2. Adhere vellum to paper
Step 3. Adhere the pieces glued together onto the toilet paper roll.
Step 4. Draw some leave shapes to use atop of the tube. Just before you cut them out use an eraser to lighten the lines. Leave just enough to see where to cut.
Step 5. Position leaves so that they will fit across the front of the toilet paper roll on a piece of clear tape. The sticky side should be up.
Step 6. Cut an approximately 6 in strip of tissue paper from the widest width of the paper ( typically 30 inches)
Step 7. Use decorative scissors to make a pretty edge to the tissue paper.
Step 8. Adhere paper leave to tubes. Feed the folded tissue paper through the center on the tube and apply hot glue at the 12, 3, 6 and 9 position of the circle. Press tissue paper into the hot glue and add more glue to tack down the excess.
Step 9. Use your sewing machine to sew the bottom closed with an approximate 1/8 in seam allowance.
Step 10. Fluff and fuss with tube until its the right shape. You can leave this open or easily close it up with a treat inside.
