Smile Treat Sack Featuring Pebbles: Happy Day!

Hi! Nat here from The Blue Crew showing you a quick and simple treat sack featuring the new Pebbles collection, Happy Day. The colors in this collection scream Spring, Sunshine and Smiles. I need it given the crazy Texas weather we've had lately.

Let's get started...

Supplies used:
Embossed Treat Sack by SRM sold at the LBH
Coral cardstock
Blue chevron patterned paper, Happy Day Collection (found here)
"Smile" sentiment circle cut from reverse side of grid patterned paper, Happy Day Collection (found here)
Lawn Fawn Party Banners die
Twine (I used brown and coral), appx 24" of each color
Sequins
Metal shim
Glossy Accents (found here)
Coral chalk ink by Quick Quotes (found here)

How To:

Die cut larger banner from the burlap paper. This paper is thick, so I had to use a metal shim and run it through my die cut machine a few times. If it doesn't cut all the way through, you can use scissors to cut the areas that didn't get cut

Die cut the solid banner out of the Blue Chevron patterned paper

Die cut the Wonky Edge scallop from coral cardstock, trim piece to about 3/4" x 5 1/4"...measure using the small side of the wonky edge

Place Hanging Out die to where only the circle overlaps the side of the burlap paper. I used washi tape to hold my die cut in place. Again, you will need to use a metal shim and run through the die cut machine a few times. Use scissors to trim any places that didn't get cut

From the Blue Chevron patterned paper, trim a 4" x 2 1/4" strip

On the backside of the burlap banner, place glossy accents around the circle that was die cut. Place glossy accents along the edges of the blue patterned paper (blue side). Adhere strip to the back side of the burlap frame.

Fill bag with goodies, treats, etc and fold over top of the bag

Place banner at the top of the bag. With a cropadile, punch holes into the bag where holes were already created from the die

Place the twines together and feed from the front to the back of the die, leaving about a 6" "tail". With other end of twine, feed front to back. I wrapped my twine around twice and tied a bow in the back

Adhere banner with glossy accents to the front

Cut out "smile" circle and ink with Coral chalk ink

Pop dot sentiment on top of blue chevron

Add 3 sequins to sentiment

Ink wonky scalloped border with coral ink and adhere to the bottom of the treat sack. Trim off excess if needed

This design is so versatile and can be used to celebrate any occasion. Thanks so much for following along today. Keep checking back in the coming days as the LBH Media Team designers have a lot of fun tutorials in store featuring new products that can be found at The Little Blue House or in their online store here.
