Today, I thought I would share with you some of the great NEW Lotions & Potions that we found in the Ranger Booth. Tim as well as the rest of the industry is taking a walk on the "BriGhT" side. One of our LBH Gals was chosen thru a lotto system and got to take a Special Workshop with Tim which he calls a "World of Distress". Here is what they made:
See what I mean about the colors!!! Fun and Bright!!! I for one, love this NEW color trend. Check out the NEW Burlap Panels...a fun new surface from Ranger...Love the texture. Here are the sizes they will be packaged in.
You will also notice on these canvases some fun NEW dies from Tim...Mustache & Picture Wheel (looks just a Viewfinder) among several others...
And of course...the NEW Distress Paint Dabbers! You will love creating with these...Here is what the "Tim"ster has to say about them...
"These very fluid water-based paints have some pretty innovative properties to them, certainly not like ordinary craft paints. the viscosity of these paints are reminiscent of the fluid vintage style milk-paints with a mixing ball inside when you shake it up. the distress paint formulation works on multi-surfaces including paper, chipboard, grungeboard, fabric, wood, metals and plastics. it is also reactive with water while the paint is wet allowing you some great blending ability and awesome textural effects. the best part however, is once the paints are dry, they don’t rewet so you’re able to layer these with the other distress products like inks and stains to achieve incredible effects. the amazing palette of 24 colors from the distress line will make it easy to coordinate with other distress products too." Tim Holtz
Here is a quick video clip from Tim's blog about these NEW paints:
Take a peek at it when you have time and
you can see the paints in action!
Tim was kind enough to let us Photo Bomb him while demoing to a whole HeRD of people on the showroom floor....He has also given us permission to reteach his World of Distress Workshop at the Little Blue House! We are working on setting the dates now and will be announcing them SOON!!! Hope you can join us!!!
I don't want to leave out our friend Dyan Reavely...She has some really fun, NEW goodies too... Check out her NEW additions to the Dylusions line...
And she has some great new stencils and stamps too.... She can tell you all about them here on this video clip....
Her personal Art Journals are simply Amazing...
Okay other NEW things from Ranger...New BRIGHT Distress Stains and Jumbo Jars of Rock Candy Dry GLitter...Elaine was especially excited about the Glitter...LoL!!!!
We also fell in love with some NEW products from our friends over at Art Anthology!!! We had an opportunity to sit and play with some of their lotions and potions and were quickly HooKed on their products!!! Big thanks to Jen Starr for showing us around the booth and making us feel right at home!!!
I look forward to introducing you gals to their Sorbets, Velvets, Colorations, and their Dimensional Crystals!!!!
A couple more things worth mentioning.... Check out these NEW Zig brush tip shimmer pens, Great NEW products from ViVa Decor, and MORE....I'll post more on those later....
