Designer Spotlight- Ken Oliver

Ken Oliver is a talented artist in the Craft and Hobby Industry. Throughout his education, Ken Oliver studied art and design, but ultimately followed a career path in sales and marketing that took him literally around the world working with clients and factories in Asia, Europe, Canada and the United States. His experience in sales, marketing and product development actually led him back to arts and crafts industry. Ken is an accomplished artist who specializes in watercolor, paper crafting, altered art, mixed media book binding and craft projects. Ken lives in Newburgh, Indiana on the banks of the Ohio River.

Ken Oliver is the man behind one of the hottest new products on the craft market "Color Burst". Color Burst is an amazing watercolor medium that lets you create beautiful watercolor techniques like never before! Use this micro-fine concentrated powder with water. It's as easy as "Sprinkle and spritz"!

We are changing things up a bit.  Join us next Tuesday for a Product Play Day (formerly Art Journaling Workshop)!
For those of you loyal art journalers, we will continue to play with products and learn new techniques. For those of you who are not art journalers, we invite you to join us to play and get messy! It is not necessary to have an art journal - we will provide specialty papers for you to work on.

This month we will be making creative "messes" using a new product from Ken Oliver Crafts - Color Bursts! These are very intense pigment powders which can be used in a variety of ways. Wait til you see these gorgeous colors and their unique properties!

I GUARANTEE WE WILL HAVE FUN!

 Kristyn here, sharing an awesome NEW product that just arrived to The Little Blue House... Stick it!

Do you love die cutting but hate the sticky mess when you try to glue those intricate dies to paper?
Stick It, is a new, micro-thin adhesive sheet that takes all the muss and fuss out of die cutting paper. Simply apply "Stick It" to your cardstock, die cut the paper, remove the backing and
stick your intricate die cut paper in place. "Stick It" comes in 2 different sizes (8 x 12) and (8 x 6). Each pack comes with 5 sheets
This will make creating with die-cuts so much easier!!
