What is Mixed Media? 

Very simply it means a work of art created with more than one medium. There are no rules and just about anything goes! Want to learn more? Come join me for our new monthly “Mixed Media Mania” classes at the LBH which will focus on the wide world of mixed media techniques and projects.

Join us this month as we explore many multi-media techniques and create a "spooktacular" tag canvas for Halloween.

You will create four spooky tags using lots of messy and fun "lotions and potions" techniques and then mount them on a 6" x 12" canvas to display this fall. Included will be some new Art Anthologies paints and special effects pastes, a fun alcohol ink background and some real and "faux" metal effects.

Supplies to bring:

Non-stick craft mat

Heat tool

Scissors

Fast-tack, clear-drying tacky glue
Glossy Accents

Small palette knife if you have one

Black Soot Distress Ink
