Calling all Pickers!!!! ...Altered Train Case

Miss T's Pickers Project Workshop is this Saturday!
If you are a "Picker" like me, you will love my
 NEW monthly Workshop!

Saturday 7/14 10am-1pm
Instructor: Miss Tracy :)
My Pickers Project this month is an...
Altered Train Case!

This month we will be altering Train Cases..I have been wanting to do this for some time! I love the vintage look of an old Train Case...they can be a great decorative item or a functional item. Depending on the papers you choose...you could create a theme. For example...travel... A Train Case would be a fabulous place to keep all your Travel Keepsakes,Photos,  Memorabilia, and other Ephemera. Another, great example...could be more functional...a great place to store your Trinkets & Treasures until your ready to create with them!...or the perfect storage case for all your Lotions & Potions! The possibilities are endless...Christmas Inspired....Beach Inspired...Teacher Inspired...or just your own Unique, Quirky, Artsy StyLe!!!
Please bring one Train Case that you have "picked"...Don't have time to go "picking"?? Then you are welcome to purchase some of my finds at the LBH.
They are now available...

while supplies last :)

Here is a peek at what my altered Train Case now looks like...Mine is a Travel Theme...

Please Bring papers of your choice if you want a specific theme or color scheme for your case.  Bring in any other items or ephemera that works with your preferred theme...this could be postcards, torn book pages, maps, music paper, tissue or pattern paper, recipes, photos, etc...Pretty much anything goes! I also want you to bring in any stamps or dies that might relate to your theme or personal style. I will be showing you how to add some metal accents to your cases too!

Please bring in lots of "stuff" (for ex. - trinkets, buttons, stickers, embellishments, doilies, momentos, ephemera, etc.) I will help you figure out how to incorporate the "stuff" on your case. I will pull out all kinds of Lotions & Potions for us to add some unique artsy techniques too!!

Our main focus will be on the outside of the case but I will share some ideas for you on how to style the inside during our Pickers Workshop.

Remember to bring your basics and a bottle of Glue -n Seal or Mod Podge, specific paint colors or ink colors, stamps, Heat Gun, and Craft Mat with you to class.
 Everything else will be provided.
 Cost: $25
FYI...my August Pickers Project will involve Keys, Keys, and more Keys!!!!...

So keep your eyes open while you're out there "picking"!
Contact the LBH to reserve your seat today!

Happy Picking!
Miss Tracy :)
