  1. Our families are all over the country! But we always try to be together for Christmas, even though we might have to celebrate on another day! Last year, when my husband and I could only be at my Dad's in November, he set up the Christmas tree and all the decorations early so it would look and feel like Christmas! Just the thought of that brings tears to my eyes.Luckily, we'll all be home for Christmas in December this year!
    Take care!

  3. Love gathering with my family especially this time of year! The kitchen is nice & cozy vs. how hot it can be in summer. I love making anything pumpkin! But one of our favs is a pie we make for the holidays called poor man's pie!
Thanks for the sneak peeks & all the inspiration!'

  4. We love gathering together this time of year. I love for the kitchen to smell of food, such as turkey, potatoes, pumpkin and all the spices. A wonderful time of year to celebrate family and hold them close. My favorite recipe to make is pumpkin pie. It is my grandmother's recipe and everyone loves it.

  5. I love gathering as a family, esp. now that I'm a Mimi to two beautiful grandchildren! They make the holiday season extra special and bring such joy to do holiday cookies and meals with and for!

  10. We enjoy once a week family night and in the fall our favorite is roasting hot dogs and s'mores over our fire pit in the backyard. It's a Halloween tradition!

  12. I love the recipe look on the sneak peak. Reminds me of the recipe book my Mom gave me for Christmas last year of her most beloved things to pass on to me. I can see actual copies of my family recipes as part of the background for a page layout. Wouldn't my daughters in law love that?

  13. By the way, Tracy, have we ever made recipe boxes out of pickers' recycling?
