My favorite tradition is decorating the Christmas tree. So many memories as the ornaments are unpacked.
ReplyDeleteIlove your star tree topper. A favorite tradition is when everyone is asleep and I put out "Santa's" toys for each child while watching "A Christmas Story" play over and over on TV.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Star. Would be a beautiful addition to any home decor.
ReplyDeleteOur Family tradition is the 'Pickle' gift. I am sure many of you have heard of it. Whoever finds the Pickle ornament on the tree, gets to open the Pickle gift. It typically is a new Family game or something everyone can share. But it is still a race to find that Pickle. :)
What a gorgeous tree topper! That is awesome. My favorite holiday tradition is going to see a Christmas movie on Christmas Eve, followed by touring our neighborhood to look at all the Christmas lights.

OMGosh, your ornament is stunning!
ReplyDeleteI like that one person is assigned to hand out all the presents & we each take turns & take the time to appreciate the gift & thank the person, as well as everyone else gets to see what you got. Have learned over the years that a lot of people just rush into a frenzy & nobody really knows who gave you what. I don't mean to offend anyone who is reading this, it's just what I like about our family tradition.
Hey! I thought this tree topper was pretty on the blog, but it is even more stunning when you see it in real life. Once again, you've outdone yourself, Tracy.
ReplyDeleteAs for favorite traditions--I try to attend a "live nativity" with my family each year. When they were small, my children were thrilled to take a small gift to Baby Jesus. For me, it's a wonderful way to celebrate the true reason for the holiday season. --Irene
