The 12 Days of Ornaments: Day 7

Hi everyone! Welcome to another ornament tutorial / giveaway from The Little Blue House gals! This is Lolly and I am going to be sharing a super quick and easy ornament using a couple of Sizzix dies combined with felt, paper and fabric!

Let's get started!
I started with one of my very most favorite dies ever...
The Tim Holtz - Sizzix - Scallops!
mmmmm... scallops!
You can check out that die HERE!

Cut a bunch of felt, paper and fabric and pile them all up!
Cut a piece of paper big enough to cover the width and height of the ornament die you will be using.

Taking a regular piece of card stock, start from the bottom and glue one strip of scallop down at a time on to the card stock...
I used Helmar's 450 Fabric Glue!
(which just so happens to be available at The Little Blue House)

Alternate between felt, paper, fabric and work your way up the piece of paper...

Once you have covered the paper in delicious scallopy strips...

Bust our your die cutting machine...
I have a Sizzix Big Shot Express (seen HERE)

Run your scallop covered paper through that puppy and...

You end up with a fabulous ornament!
(peep... I used the Sizzix ornament die found similar to the one seen HERE)

Go ahead and create two of these little fellas...

...and then...

Make yourself an ornament sammich!
Glue the two pieces back to back and you'll have a pretty ornament on both sides!

Ta da!

That's all for today! Thanks so much for joining us for another fun ornament!

The big winner from yesterday's post is LINDA HAHN! Congrats Linda! Please contact the gals at The Little Blue House to learn how to claim your ornament!
